@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg Have to be honest, it's been some years since i last drove an Volvo, but i think the new one operates better than i remember the E series drive, it was smother and more harmonic in the hydraulics and it felt faster 🙂

@@TheDanishConstructionChannel Nice! I always wonder about electric pilot controls, because people are so married to the ability to feel the hydraulics on normal machines. Then again, my car has electric power steering, and I can't tell the difference at all. It's that good.

@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg Have not been a fan of the electric pilot control some of the competitors have, but i think the once on the new Volvo felt really nice, but would have to try the machine at home for a longer period, to make the final verdict 🙂

Hi, Yes, the box on the dumper is an Xtonomy sensor system. It will read out the haul roads that the truck is traveling down, optimise the pathways, and drive the dump truck autonomously from the workface to the dump site / crusher. I have a video of it here: ruclips.net/user/shorts5y-Kmd6h3u4

yes, but it doesn't matter much 😉👍. I have a lot of equipment that can't be seen from the outside🤩👍. We in Norway and Sweden usually have better equipped machines than the rest of Europe. But you come after and that's good🤩🤩🤩

@@Vidarsteinsland Yeah, I agree, speccing the machine with Oilquick and a tiltrotator would be pretty awesome, but I guess it all depends on how much you are willing or able to pay for a machine up front. I know a tiltrotator will save money over the life of the machine, but it often depends on the people with the money, and how much they want to spend.

⁠ You're absolutely right there🙄. In our company they found out in 1994 that we saved money by having rototilt on the machines🤩👍Here in Norway they can't get machine operators if they don't have this equipment on😉👍. we machine drivers are picky in this country. We have oilquik and Rototilt on all machines in this country under 40 tonnes👍

Yeah, I wondered about that, do they have a shorter radius compared to other short tail machines with a standard-size cab? How many extra cm are they getting compared to a Hitachi or a Kobelco?

@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg They don't have any shorter turning radius at the back, but maybe a little at the front on the left corner. From experience of 40 years in the industry, it is so rare that this is a problem. There is a reason that Volvo, Hitachi, Livherr and CAT have moved away from this nonsense. While Komatsu drives on with a sliding door and cramped cabin😱😱🤣🤣🤣. Hitachi has the same 8 Ton cabin as the 25 Ton cabin, tight and nice😵‍💫😵‍💫. Kobelco also has a strange way of constructing their cabin. it's also tight when you're going to sit there all day😱. But CAT 335 and 325 have a large cabin on them and that's Nice 🤩🤩

@@Vidarsteinsland True, the Next Gen cabs on the short radius cats are quite roomy!

They are digging up the railway embankment for the main train track that goes to the north. After digging up the track, they pushed a large concrete underpass (that was built on site) into position and replaced the track.

Hahaha, yeah, they have to be the happy helpers on every site, because you can't just trundle your tracked machine from one end of the site to the other. 😀 We also have smallish (Volvo L35 type) wheel loaders for the same job. They get a lot of abuse though because everyone will hop onto them.

I know that problem😱😱. We have a Volvo L90 that is not treated well😩😩. Everyone wants to drive it but no one takes responsibility. I'm probably the only one who doesn't want to drive it here at the facility🤣🤣

@@Vidarsteinsland Wow, and the L90 is definitely not a small 5t loader! It's not the kind of machine that 'doesn't matter' on site.

We need that sice off wheelloader to load the dumpers with cruched stone and carrie the big pipes we use here in the trenches🤩👍
